hTMA Nutritional Balancing
Nutrient mineral ratios and levels can explain the pathology of many health problems. hTMA guided nutritional balancing is an individualized therapeutic protocol that resolves health problems and optimizes biochemistry. hTMA lab results identify multiple physiological factors, including; immune function, oxidation rate, stress-capacity, cellular energy production, adrenal condition, thyroid function, and the presence of heavy-metal toxicity. With hTMA, detoxification progress can be monitored also.

Clinical Nutrition
hTMA Nutritional balancing re-balances mineral ratios and levels. Balanced body chemistry is accomplished with a nutrient-dense diet based on your specific oxidation type (metabolism) combined with an individualized supplementation program.
Benefits of hTMA Nutritional Balancing
Alleviate or resolve chronic conditions and revitalize energy production at the cellular level. In addition, hTMA results identify dysfunctional physiological function (disease and disease trends), allowing you time to take preventive steps to avoid potential health problems.
- Non-invasive. A small hair sample is taken for the laboratory biopsy.
- Targeted. Avoid taking nutritional supplements you do not need (or may even be doing harm).
- Assess toxic-load. Find out if there are dangerous heavy-metals or other toxins in your body.
- Remove toxins and strengthen immune function.
- Restore healthy mineral levels and ratios.
- Improve mental health and reverse fatigue.
- Increase vitality.

Toxic Exposure
Everyday exposure to toxic heavy-metals and chemical environmental pollution is growing at an alarming rate. Toxicity is perhaps the single most serious threat to our health.
- Toxic-load information "Body-Burden"
-
Mount Sinai School of Medicine and the Environmental Working Group researchers found an average of 91 industrial compounds, pollutants, and other chemicals in the blood and urine of all test subjects studied. Scientists refer to this contamination as a person's body burden (also of concern, the dangers of exposure to these chemicals in combination has never been studied). Of the 167 chemicals researchers found: 76 cause cancer in humans or animals, 94 are toxic to the brain and nervous system, and 79 cause birth defects or abnormal development.
- Mercury toxicity (including dental-amalgams)
Mercury/Toxic Metals are a common cause of over 30 chronic health conditions. Mercury is cytotoxic, neurotoxic, immunotoxic, endocrine disrupting, a reproductive toxin, and blocks or inhibits essential enzymatic processes — even at low levels of exposure. Mercury also is documented to be the most toxic substance people are commonly exposed to at levels known to cause significant adverse health effects. In surveys of people throughout the U.S., over 22% of people tested had dangerous levels of mercury body burden (this number is over 30% in several states). Dental amalgam is the largest source of mercury in people who have several amalgam fillings (or metal crowns over amalgam), and dental amalgam a significant source of mercury in sewer sludge — thus a major source of mercury in water bodies, fish, and the environment.

Randall Fitzgerald, author of The Hundred-Year Lie, explains:
“…It wasn't just learning how chemically toxic we each have become or how, as a result of the body burden of chemicals we all are constantly absorbing, our health is undergoing a rapid and alarming decline that will bankrupt us.
It was the jolting discovery that our governments, our food and medicine manufacturers, even medical science itself cannot reliably tell us anymore what is safe. Nor can these institutions protect us from those dangers that have already been identified. Every assurance we have been given about the purity or safety of our foods and medicines and consumer products has been nothing more than wishful thinking or willful deception.
I kept asking myself, how can this possibly be true and if it's really true, why has no one spoken up about these corrupting patterns before? What you will find in this book is an ugly truth about the daily dangers that we each face. We cannot rely upon government or industry or science to save us. We are each on our own and we can no longer deceive ourselves about it.”

Food is the Best Medicine
”If we could give every individual the right amount of nourishment and exercise, not too little and not too much, we would have found the safest way to health. Natural forces within us are the true healers of disease. Let food be your medicine, and medicine your food.“
Hippocrates 300 B.C.
Many illnesses result from eating food that causes harm (not because of some random misfortune). Restoring health to the body can be as uncomplicated as replacing toxic food with nutrient-dense food.
Steps to Healthly Nutrition
- Take time out to enjoy preparing and eating good food.
- Learn more about the health benefits that excellent nutrition offers.
- Invest in nutritionally-dense foods.
- Spend quality-time preparing and enjoying meals.
- Drink pure water (as pure as possible).
- Eat foods human beings evolved eating (we are designed to digest them).
- Join a local buying club and buy in bulk
- Shop at a farmers market, join a CSA.
- Grow a vegetable garden in healthy, balanced mineralized soil.
- Eliminate ALL industrially produced "food" products.
- Eliminate ALL simple carbohydrates (sugar, soda pop, etc.) especially anything with high fructose corn syrup. Do not drink calories (i.e., soft drinks, sports or energy drinks, mocha frappuccino, etc.).
