Julie Casper
L. Ac., C.H.E.K. Certified, hTMA Nutritional Balancing
Julie Casper is a classically trained Oriental medicine physician. She earned her acupuncture degree from the Academy of Classical Oriental Sciences located in Nelson, British Columbia, Canada, with additional studies and clinical practice in; Applied Meridian Theory, traditional qigong, Health Qigong, and musculoskeletal assessment and pathology correction. Julie is a hTMA nutritional balancing practitioner. hTMA uses tissue mineral analysis to assess biochemistry and toxic body-burden. For more information about hTMA and nutritional balancing, see NutritionalBalancing.org
She is a C.H.E.K. Institute certified exercise coach. Julie was a "C.H.E.K. Practitioner of the Year" 2011 finalist. Patients commonly come to her clinic for pain relief. Acupuncture is famous for its effectiveness in relieving pain. But symptomatic relief very often does not resolve what caused the pain in the first place. Julie's experience in kinesiology allows her to thoroughly assess, then train patients to self-correct the underlying musculoskeletal causes of their pain and resolve it permanently. By incorporating adjustments into their current programs, musculoskeletal balancing combined with hTMA helps athletes to prevent injury and enhance athletic performance.
